Hospigaiety.com is YOUR travel club. We've done our best to create a gay travel experience that is rewarding and memorable; but we don't imagine we've offered you everything. We know that YOU -- our members -- are going to imagine new possibilities, new enhancements, and improvements that will expand OUR horizons, too! My partner and I love to travel. We’ve been all over the USA, making friends everywhere we go. We've always stayed in Gay Bed & Breakfast Inns, or Gay Friendly Hotels. My partner actually manages a gay bed and breakfast in the French Quarter in New Orleans, The Ursuline Guest House. But, when hurricane Katrina came to town we were forced to evacuate, even though the French Quarter was virtually untouched. The mayor, along with the army said, "You must leave."

We went to Galveston Island, Texas. We'd met a few Galvestonians in New Orleans through the years, and decided that would be the proper place for us. Besides, we'd only be there a few days. Days turned into months and the Gay Community opened up its generous heart and wonderful homes and gave us free accommodations! It was an absolute shocker for me that there were people on this earth that were that kind! Not only free housing, a group of senior center female impersonators got together to put on a FREE show, with all their tips going to the evacuees! Those old broads brought down the house with hit, showstopper after hit show stopper and raised a veritable fortune! That’s how the idea behind the Hospigaiety Club™ was born. This is not only your opportunity to travel; but to make this gay travel club better and better!
